Kamal Haasan celebrated his 69th birthday on November 7th with a pre-birthday party. On the same day, the makers revealed the title of their much-anticipated film with director Mani Ratnam. Previously referred to as 'KH234,' the film now goes by the name 'Thug Life.' The production house Raaj Kamal Films International shared an exciting title announcement video on Instagram, revealing Kamal Haasan's unique look for the film.
In the video, Kamal Haasan appears in an entirely new avatar, standing in a mysterious and hazy landscape, draped in a rugged cloak. He is seen being pursued by a group of men, creating an air of intrigue. The camera then pans to Kamal's face, unveiling his complete look, complete with a thick mustache and beard. This marks the reunion of Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam after their iconic film 'Nayakan.'
Dulquer Salmaan was officially welcomed on board for the film, with Raaj Kamal Films International expressing their excitement to work with him. The film is expected to be a gripping gangster drama and will be directed by Mani Ratnam. It is co-produced by Raaj Kamal Films International and Madras Talkies and features an ensemble cast, including Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Abhirami, and Nasser. The music for the film will be composed by the legendary A.R. Rahman.
