Will David Warner Learn the 'Pushpa Pushpa' Hook Steps from Allu Arjun? Cricketer's Affection Continues
Australian cricketer David Warner has once again shown his admiration for Indian cinema, particularly for actor Allu Arjun and his iconic character Pushpa Raj from the movie 'Pushpa: The Rise'.
Warner, known for his playful personality, recently expressed his excitement for the upcoming sequel, 'Pushpa 2' by commenting on Allu Arjun's social media post unveiling the first single, 'Pushpa Pushpa' from the film.
In his comment, Warner exclaimed, "Oh dear, how good is this? Now I've got some work to do @alluarjunonline." Allu Arjun responded warmly, assuring Warner that he would teach him the signature dance move when they meet.
This is not the first time Warner has publicly displayed his fondness for Allu Arjun's work. In the past, he has imitated dance steps and dialogues from Allu Arjun's movies, garnering attention and praise from fans worldwide. One notable instance was when Warner recreated a dance step from the song "Srivalli", which went viral on social media in 2022. His playful interactions with Indian culture and cinema have helped bridge cultural gaps and showcase his admiration for Indian entertainment.
Warner's enthusiasm for Allu Arjun's work has been echoed by other cricketers as well, such as DJ Bravo, Suryakumar Yadav, Suresh Raina, and Pat Cummins, who have also recreated their versions of Pushpa's iconic moments on social media platforms.
"Pushpa 2: The Rule" stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, alongside Allu Arjun, reprising their roles from the first installment. The action-packed thriller, directed by Sukumar, features a talented ensemble cast including Dhanunjay, Rao Ramesh, Suneel, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Ajay Ghosh. The film's music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, with cinematography by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and editing by Karthika Srinivas.
The anticipation for "Pushpa 2: The Rule" has been building since the release of a special teaser on Allu Arjun's birthday on April 8. The teaser, showcasing Allu Arjun's intense action sequences during the Jatharaa festival, has already garnered over 12 million views on YouTube. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media, "Pushpa 2: The Rule" is set to hit the screens on August 15, 2024, promising another thrilling cinematic experience for fans of the franchise.
