Adhyayan Suman Advises Sharmin Segal to Accept The Reality

Adhyayan Suman, who has been praised for his role as a Nawab in the series, recently offered advice to Sharmin Segal in light of the criticism she has faced. In an interview, Adhyayan emphasized the importance of not living in a bubble. “I think it’s very important to not live in a bubble. It’s very important to accept any sort of reality, not just Heeramandi, per se. It’s very important to understand who you are, it’s very important to understand whether you have it in you to fight the next 15-2o years. It’s important for you to not lie to yourself.”

Sharmin Segal as Alamzeb

Sharmin Segal's portrayal of Alamzeb, the younger daughter of courtesan Mallikajaan (played by Manisha Koirala), has been met with mixed reactions. Some viewers criticized her acting, leading Sharmin to disable comments on her Instagram account to avoid negativity. Despite this, she has received support from her co-stars and has defended her performance, stating, "I gave my all to the character of Alamzeb. We often focus on the negatives, but there are many positives that get overlooked."

Shekhar Suman Also Priases Sharmin

Veteran actor Shekhar Suman also expressed his support for Sharmin, calling the criticism unfair. He advised her to consider any credible feedback and use it to improve while ignoring baseless negativity. "If there is some validity to the criticism, think about why it's being said, and if there's a point, correct yourself and prove them wrong. If it's just for the sake of it, ignore them," he suggested.

As Heeramandi continues to stream on Netflix, the anticipation for the second season is high. Fans are eagerly waiting to see how the story unfolds and how the cast responds to both criticism and praise.
