Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3: Director Anees Bazmee Talks Akshay Kumar's Absence

Despite the comparisons, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was a big success. Now, Kartik is gearing up for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, with Vidya Balan making a comeback to the iconic character of Manjulika. Surprisingly, Akshay Kumar is not part of the third installment.

Director Anees Bazmee's Explanation

Anees Bazmee, the director of the film, addressed Akshay's absence from the Bhool Bhulaiyaa sequels. He clarified, "No, Akshay is not a part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. I am dying to work with him, but unfortunately, I have not been able to script a film where we could work together. In the future, certainly yes."

Vidya Balan's Gracious Gesture

Bazmee also shared his appreciation for Vidya Balan's involvement, recalling her kindness during the filming of his previous movie. He said, "Vidya had agreed to do a 3-day role in my film Thank You. I remember calling her, and she took no time to give her nod. I can never forget that gracious gesture. It all started from there, and here I am today, ready to go on the set."

Anees Bazmee's Health Update

He was rushed to the hospital and is currently taking rest after undergoing surgery.
