Earlier scheduled for December 8, 2023, the film will now hit theaters on January 12, 2024. In a joint statement, the makers expressed their deep love for the project and their unwavering commitment to delivering an exceptional cinematic experience. They explained that due to the crowded movie release schedule and the packed last two months of 2023, they decided to extend the season of joy and bring 'Merry Christmas' to theaters in the new year.
Directed by Sriram Raghavan, 'Merry Christmas' promises to be a genre-defying tale. The film is shot in two languages, features different supporting actors.

This suspense thriller, produced by Ramesh Taurani and Jaya Taurani's Tips Films, along with Sanjay Routray and Kewal Garg's Matchbox Pictures, is a multilingual venture, being shot in both Hindi and Tamil.
