Ranbir Kapoor Opens Up: 'Animal' Role Evokes Memories of Father Rishi Kapoor

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor opened up about his intense role in the upcoming action thriller 'Animal' during the trailer launch in Delhi. The star-studded event saw Ranbir, along with co-stars Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol, as well as producer Bhushan Kumar and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, all dressed in coordinated black outfits.

At the launch, Ranbir Kapoor drew parallels between his real-life father, the late Rishi Kapoor, and his on-screen father, played by Anil Kapoor. Reflecting on his role, Ranbir shared, "Whenever I met Sandeep Reddy Vanga, I always told him to give me a reference. I have never heard or felt like this. I think eventually subconsciously, I thought of my father, the way he used to speak, he was a very passionate and aggressive man."

The trailer of 'Animal' unveils Ranbir Kapoor in a fierce avatar, showcasing an obsessive love for his father. The 3-minute-32-second teaser hints at the character's transformation into a formidable force due to a tumultuous upbringing.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, 'Animal' features Anil Kapoor in a prominent role, depicting a compelling father-son relationship. The film also introduces Rashmika Mandanna as Ranbir's love interest and Bobby Deol as the antagonist, making a stylish yet menacing appearance in the trailer.

Scheduled for release on December 1, 'Animal' will hit theaters in five languages - Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The movie promises a gripping narrative, exploring the dynamics of family relationships against the backdrop of intense action and emotion.
