Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh pens heartfelt note for Team India post World Cup Finals; Praise their exceptional effort and hardwork!

Cricket World Cup 2023 so far has been one of the most dopamine worthy moment for the cricket fanatics all throughout the nation. Marking it's glorious entry to the finals, India has accoladed it's name in the final teams, defeating team New Zealand on 15 November, 2023. The final match took place yesterday, 19 November 2023 between team India and Australia in the coveted grounds of Narendra Modi Stadium of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Although, the shine did not stood tall with India's fate, as Australia defeated the blue jersey's in no time.

On the other hand, Sunday was noted to be one of the most iconic match in the India's sports history as the biggest names from the country, from politicians to who's who of Bollywood has graced the Gujarat stadium to witness the historical moment. Actors like Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Athiya Shetty, Anushka Sharma and Shah Rukh Khan along with his family has graced the sports gala. Throughout the match, everyone out of the audience, including the star studded rows have continuously cheered for the Blue Team, from singing national Anthem to Hanuman Chalisa, the Sunday match seemed like a moment of rarity.

Post Word Cup Finals, Shah Rukh Khan expresses his feelings for Team India 

As the fate did not stick to our side, India had to loose the final battle with the Yellow team of Australia. Even after loosing, everyone has supported Team India and encouraged everyone not to loose ourselves, as it is how sports are meant to be, loosing and winning! The Bollywood celebrities have added their elation for the loosing team too. Jawan actor Shah Rukh Khan who has attended the Gujarat stadium with his family has taken over the social media on Monday morning to express his feelings. Taking over his X handle, SRK wrote, " The way the Indian team has played this whole tournament is a matter of honour and they showed great spirit and tenacity. It’s a sport and there are always a bad day or two. Unfortunately it happened today….but thank u Team India for making us so proud of our sporting legacy in cricket…u bring too much cheer to the whole of India. Love and respect. Ranveer Singh, on the other hand has expressed his words in his gram handle and penned a beautiful note for Team India in his morning story wherein he quoted, "Some high, some low, some good days, some bad days, some wins, some losses. That’s sports, That’s life. We are all gutted but let’s applaud our boys for giving it their all," and tagged Team India for his utter support, through thick and thin.
