Released on 15th August 2024, 'Stree 2' hit theatres alongside two other major releases: Akshay Kumar's 'Khel Khel Mein' and John Abraham's 'Veda'. Despite the competition from these big-budget films, 'Stree 2' emerged as the clear winner, leaving its rivals trailing in its wake. Within the first week alone, the film amassed a staggering ₹291 crores, setting a new standard for success in the industry.

While 'Khel Khel Mein' and 'Veda' struggled to maintain their hold on the box office, 'Stree 2' continued to captivate audiences with its unique blend of horror and comedy. The film's engaging storyline, coupled with stellar performances from its cast, ensured that it remained a top choice for moviegoers across the country.

The Second Week Surge: Unstoppable Growth

As 'Stree 2' entered its second week, its box office performance only grew stronger. On its second Friday, the film saw a 4.17% increase in earnings, bringing in ₹17.5 crores. This was followed by an impressive 88.57% jump on the second Saturday, with collections soaring to ₹33 crores. The second Sunday continued this upward trend, as the film raked in a massive ₹42.4 crores.

With such impressive figures, anticipation was high for the film's performance on its 12th day, the second Monday after its release. The official earnings for this day, shared by Shraddha Kapoor on her Instagram account, revealed that 'Stree 2' collected ₹20.2 crores. This brought the film's total earnings to ₹422 crores domestically, with worldwide collections reaching an astonishing ₹589 crores.

Outperforming the Titans: 'Stree 2' Breaks Records

Despite a slight dip in earnings on its 12th day, 'Stree 2' continued to outperform some of the biggest films in Indian cinema. The film surpassed the 12th-day collections of blockbusters like 'Baahubali 2,' 'Sultan,' 'Jawan,' 'War,' 'Gadar 2,' and 'Animal.' It has now become the second-highest-grossing film on its 12th day, second only to Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan.'

'Pathaan' earned ₹27.5 crores on its 12th day.

'Stree 2' followed with ₹20 crores.

'Baahubali 2' collected ₹15.75 crores.

'Sultan' earned ₹15.18 crores.

'Jawan' brought in ₹14.25 crores.

'War' earned ₹13.2 crores.

'Gadar 2' collected ₹12.1 crores.

'Animal' earned ₹12 crores.
