Disneyland viral video: Proposals are always special and to make a marriage proposal more romantic and cherish able, people tend to go far miles. A video of such a marriage proposal at Disneyland in Paris have gone viral but unfortunately, the romantic proposal was ruined by a Disneyland employee.
In a viral video, a man's proposal is interrupted by a Disneyland employee which has suarfced on the internet. The video shows the man falling down on one knee in front of one of the park's renowned castles at Disneyland in Paris. As he unlocks the ring box, a staffer dashes over to the couple's platform and grabs it. He then steps down from the elevated platform and motions for the couple to exit, with both the guy and woman looking perplexed.
According to 'Newsweek,' the video has been played 85,000 times since it was first posted on Reddit and has now gone viral.
Before mounting a platform in front of Cinderella's Castle to propose to his girlfriend, the man reportedly requested permission from a park employee.
However, the proposal was interrupted when a male employee rushes into the scene, slips between the two, and grabs the ring box as he drops on his knees carrying a ring box.
Since then, a Disney official has issued an apology for the event. The Disney spokesperson stated, "We regret how this was handled. We have apologized to the couple involved and offered to make it right."
However, this was not the first time Disneyland Paris has faced online backlash. Earlier, two members of the theme park's security personnel ordered a mother to stop breastfeeding her baby in public in 2021, the theme park was obliged to apologise to her.
