The recent firing incident outside Salman Khan's residence in Mumbai has garnered significant attention. The Mumbai Crime Branch swiftly took action, apprehending two suspects believed to be linked to the incident.

Gunfire at Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartments

The firing took place early at 5 am outside Bandra's Galaxy Apartments, where Salman Khan resides. Two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle carried out the attack, concealing their identities under helmets before fleeing the scene.

Describing the incident as a "meticulously planned attack," the Mumbai Crime Branch emphasized the seriousness of the situation. CCTV footage captured one of the suspects firing towards Salman Khan's residence, heightening concerns.

Who are the Suspects Arrested for the gunfire incident at Salman Khan's residence?

The suspects, identified as Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21), both hailing from Bihar, were apprehended in Mata No Madh village in Gujarat's Kutch district. The successful operation was a joint effort between the Kutch-West and Mumbai police, leveraging technical surveillance.

Preliminary investigations indicate that Gupta and Pal were allegedly hired by the gang associated with incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi to carry out the attack. The motive behind the incident is speculated to be Bishnoi's vendetta against Salman Khan, stemming from the 1998 blackbuck hunting incident, which holds significance in the Bishnoi community.

Despite Salman Khan's presence at his residence during the attack, fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were reported. Following the firing, the suspects abandoned their motorcycle near a church, opting for an autorickshaw to reach Bandra railway station. Subsequently, they boarded a train to Santacruz station and hired another autorickshaw to continue their journey.

The incident has brought to light the persistent threats posed by individuals associated with Lawrence Bishnoi and wanted gangster Goldie Brar against Salman Khan. Anmol Bishnoi, Lawrence Bishnoi's brother, claimed responsibility for the attack on social media platforms.

The arrest of the suspects marks a crucial step in the ongoing investigation, shedding light on the complexities of criminal activities and the challenges faced by law enforcement agencies. As the investigation progresses, authorities remain vigilant to ensure the safety and security of all citizens.
