YRF is preparing to release 'Bunty Aur Babli 2', sixteen years after the first film, and the teaser is already available. The teaser, which stars Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Sharvari, hints that the film would include two sets of Bunty-Babli. And it's evident that our two protagonists, Saif and Rani, aren't happy.
Rani Mukerji reprises her role from the original film, while Saif Ali Khan fills in for Abhishek Bachchan. The original film ended with the con artists giving up their illicit operations and assisting Amitabh Bachchan's officer Dashrath Singh in solving crimes.
After 12 years, Saif and Rani are reunited on screen in Bunty Aur Babli 2, and the two are reminiscing about past times. 'Hum Tum', 'Tara Rum Pum', and 'Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic' are among the films in which the two have collaborated. They are seen inquiring what is going on as they are joined by the new Bunty and Babli, Siddhant, and Sharvari. Adi sir (producer Aditya Chopra) has revised the script, according to director Varun Sharma. As Rani, Chopra's wife requests the producer, Saif requests that the director visit him in the make-up area. An irritated director orders a pack-up, leaving the new actors in the dark.

"Bunty Aur Babli 2' is a completely revamped sequel set in today's period," Saif Ali Khan earlier stated in a statement. He added "It's a wonderful script that immediately drew me in. It's an all-around entertainer for the whole family to enjoy, and that's what I liked and related to. Also, it's a fresh character, language, and setting, which is exactly what I'm looking for in a screenplay. I particularly enjoy the dynamic in the film between the original Bunty and Babli and the new Bunty and Babli. It's new, funny, and completely engrossing.
I've always enjoyed working with Rani, and I'm looking forward to working with her again on a new project. It's also great to be back at YRF.”
Due to the second wave of the pandemic, the film's release was earlier postponed. Varun Sharma is directing Bunty Aur Babli 2, which will be released in theatres on November 19.
