As per the report, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will likely get married on April 17 in RK house Chembur. Notably, Ranbir's parents Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor had got married in RK house Chembur in 1980.

Meanwhile, a report stated that the reason behind their wedding date, April 17, is that it's a lucky number for the Kapoor family — '7+1 = 8'. The world knows RK's obsession with the number 8. Also, Alia Bhatt believes in the same and hence, the couple agreed on April 17.

The report also mentioned the reason behind the venue of the couple's wedding. Reportedly, the Kapoor family was planning a lavish wedding but Ranbir Kapoor’s grandmother Krishna Raj Kapoor wished to see them getting married in their house. Therefore, the couple chose RK house as a venue.
