68th National Film Awards: Ajay Devgn and Suriya share 'Best Actor' title
68th National Film Awards: Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn and South Suriya shared the win for Best Actor in 68th National Film Awards. The two were announced as the winners for their films Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior and Soorarai Pottru respectively.
To note, this is Ajay Devgn's third National Award for Tanhaji, It is a biographical movie about the renowned Maratha warrior Tanaji Malusare, that also took home the prize for best mainstream movie offering wholesome entertainment.
While it is first National Award for Suriya. Based on happenings in the life of Simplifly Deccan founder G Gopinath, the film Soorarai Pottru also received the prestigious awards for Best Feature Film and Best Actress for Aparna Balamurali.
