Aamir Khan recently announced that he would take a short break from acting to spend on his family. The actor has chosen to go take a break from his acting career. Aamir spoke about his profession on Monday at an event in Delhi and declared he would be taking a year and a half off from acting.
The event produced a number of viral videos and images. Aamir mentioned his involvement in the film Champions in one of the snippets. The difference is that he would now be a producer of the movie rather than an actor in it.
Aamir Khan stated that whenever he is doing a movie, he is very much lost in that which restrains him to look at other things that are taking place in his life. He also revealed that after 'Laal Singh Chaddha' he was supposed to do a film called 'Champion' which he said had a beautiful script and storyline. But he felt that he wanted to take a break and want to be with his family, his mother and his kids. In his 35-year acting career, Aamir added that this may be the first break he is doing.
The actor added that he feels as though he has been working for 35 years, putting all of his energy into his job. To those who are close to him, he believes it is unfair. At this point, he feels the need to take a break in order to spend time with them and genuinely have a new perspective on life. He is looking forward to the upcoming year and a half when he won't be acting,"
