Ajay Devgn writes an emotional post for his late father wishing him on Guru Purnima!

On Saturday, actor Ajay Devgn paid tribute to his late father Veeru Devgn, describing himself as "blessed" to have learned from him. Ajay uploaded an old photo of him and his father standing next to each other on Twitter on Guru Purnima.

Fans also showered him with affection in response to the message. "Good advise to the younger generation," one fan said. "He was your mentor and all," remarked another. "Love You Ajay Sir," wrote a third.

On his late father's birthday last month, Ajay tweeted a photo with him. He'd put a caption on it, "Every day, I think about you. Today, even more so. Papa, have a wonderful birthday! Since then, life hasn't been the same." Veeru passed away in May 2019 after suffering a heart arrest.

Veteran actor Dharmendra had responded to Ajay's tweet, writing, "My son Ajay, I adore you. Be healthy, joyful, and powerful. My most devoted companion was your papa. He will be remembered with admiration and reverence for the rest of his life. Keep an eye out." Ajay had reacted with a positive response "Dharamji, I appreciate your kindness. We both adored you, Papa, and me. I'll keep doing it. Paaji, we salute you."

Ajay's wife, actress Kajol, paid respect to her father-in-law following Veeru's demise. “In happier times....He earned the award for a lifetime of achievement on this day, but it took a lifetime to prove,” she wrote with a throwback photo of the two of them. Many people are mourning the man's death, yet he lived a full life... RIP with love.”
