A 33 Year Old Watched Bigg Boss During His Open Brain Surgery

We often hear that open brain surgery is one of the critical surgeries ever in the world. While performing such operations one must be seriously involved and do not take anything lightly. Well, opposing such stereotypes, we have a recent case that will impose everyone to believe that surgeries can be entertaining too. Here is the story of Vara Prasad who watched the biggest reality show Bigg Boss during his brain surgery.

Vara Prasad, a 33-year-old citizen of Andhra Pradesh had to go through open brain surgery. This operation demanded him to stay awake till the surgery is done. The patient decided to watch Bigg Boss and a Hollywood movie for the sake of a smooth surgery.

The operation was performed to detach the limo which was adjoining the motor cortex on the left area. Vara Prasad was operated for the same surgery in 2016, which took place in Hyderabad. During that operation Prasad did not recover thoroughly, so he had to go through another surgery this year. The operation happened at The Government General Hospital of Guntur.

Bigg Boss

During the surgery, Vara Prasad continuously watched Bigg Boss, and a Hollywood film so that he could have an easy surgery while being entertained, which happened too. The surgery went smooth because Vara chose to entertain himself, instead of panicking. Doctors also supported his decision, and let him watch whatever he wanted to.

Dr. BH Srinivas Reddy, Dr. Seshadri Sekhar a neurosurgeon, and Dr. Trinadh an anesthetist from the government general hospital performed the surgery. The patient was discharged from the hospital soon after he recovered properly.
