After Hockey Player In Soorma, Taapsee Pannu To Play Cricketer In Mithali Raj’s Biopic?

After winning the hearts with her performance as a Hockey player in Diljit Dosanjh starrer Soorma, versatile actress Taapsee Pannu will now reportedly portray a role of a cricketer on big screen.

According to the media reports, Taapsee Pannu is set to play Mithali Raj, captain of the Indian women's ODI cricket team, in her next film. The reports further suggested that the actress has given her nod to portray Mithali Raj in her biopic.

Earlier, Taapsee spoke to PTI about Mithali Raj biopic. She said: "The script is not in place so it's too early to talk about it. Right now, they are collecting material and the script has not been written yet. If they offer me, I will be very happy. I really want to do a sports biopic."
