Akshay Kumar Breaks His Own Record. Kesari Becomes Akki’s Biggest Bollywood FIlm

Akshay Kumar has broken his own record at the box-office as his recently released film ‘Keari’ has become the actor’s highest grossing Hindi film of all times. According to the reports by Bollywood Hungama, ‘Kesari’ with over Rs 135 crore earning has surpassed the lifetime numbers of previous Akshay Kumar’s blockbusters Toilet – Ek Prem Katha (Rs. 134.25 crore) and Rowdy Rathore (Rs. 133 crore).

Based on the battle of Saragarhi, ‘Kesari’ has achieved these amazing numbers at the box-office in just two-week of its release. Akshay and Parineeti Chopra starrer film was released on March 21. Going by the reports, ‘Kesari’ will be surely going to touch Rs 150 crore in coming days.

The movie portrays the story of 21 Sikh fighters who fought against 10,000 Afghan invaders in the heroic battle of 1987 of Saragarhi. Akshay Kumar gives a jaw-dropping performance with his Punjabi accent and light-weighted punches in the movie.
