Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar recently got emotional after reading out the Raksha Bandhan message from his sister Alka Bhatia.

'Raksha Badhan' actor Akshay Kumar appeared as a special guest on the singing reality show 'Superstar Singer 2'. In the meanwhile, he received an audio message from Alka Bhatia.

She said in Punjabi that she was recently chatting with someone that the Rakhi is on August 11. "You stood with me at all times, be it good or bad. From being a father, a friend, to a brother, you have played all roles in my life. Thank you for everything,” she said.

It is pertinent to mention that the film 'Raksha Bandhan' is a story of a brother, who woved to get married only after his four sisters would be married. In the latest promo of 'Superstar Singer 2', the contestant Rituraj was seen singing Kishore Kumar's song, 'Phoolon Ka Taron Ka'.
