A glimpse from @mumbaihalfmarathon last Sunday. It was a really nice and grand marathon as always. Except the weather, everything was just so on point on this day. Kudos to @sunilshetty27 and his team for such great work. #1947 #1947drinks #idbifederallifeinsurancemumbaihalfmarathon #mumbaihalfmarathon #amarjeetsinghchawla #sportysikh #blindrunner #blindmarathoner #91halfmarathon

Famously known as ‘Sporty Sikh’, Chawla along with a group of fellow runners started his sprint from Goregaon Sports Club on May 31 at 5: 30 AM. They made their way through Panvel and Lonavala, along the old Mumbai-Pune highway, and reached Rabindranath Tagore School in Pune on June 2 with well over an hour to spare.

Chawla has so far completed 174 races – including 106 half marathons and 64 runs of 10-km. This 160km dash was his first long-distance run.
