Wamiqa Gabbi makes candid confession about doing some Punjabi films, 'Just for Survival'

She said, "Some Punjabi films I have done, also I didn't have any other films, and its not like just for money, but kuch or tha he nahi, toh survive toh karna hai naa, toh wo kar liya jismein itna dil nahi tha, itna maze character mei tha nahi matlb bas hai, toh kar liye."

Her work in projects like Jubilee and Khufiya helped audiences see a different side of her acting abilities. Instead of simply being part of a film, Wamiqa increasingly became the kind of performer who could disappear into her characters.

Her honest confession has received mixed reactions. While some have questioned how she views her connection with Pollywood, others have appreciated her for speaking openly about the financial and professional struggles actors can face at the beginning of their careers.
