'Captain Fantastic': FIFA releases documentary on Sunil Chhetri's untold story

Where to watch Sunil Chhetri Documentary Captain Fantastic online? Indian football team captain Sunil Chhetri added another feather to his cap as FIFA has created a special documentary series based on his struggle and fantastic career.

The series has been named ‘Captain Fantastic’ and it has three episodes. Sunil Chhetri’s portrayal in a documentary series by the international football’s governing body is unique.

Notably, Sunil Chhetri represents India which has not yet competed in the FIFA World Cup. However, Sunil Chhetri’s goal-scoring skills propelled him to stand alongside football’s G.O.A.Ts – Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

The 37-year-old Sunil Chhetri is currently the third-highest goal scorer in international football. Cristiano Ronaldo is on the top with 117 goals while Chhetri is only six goals behind Lionel Messi’s 90-goal tally.

During his career, Sunil Chhetri played 131 games for India's squad and smashed 84 goals. While sharing the poster, FIFA captioned it: "You know all about Ronaldo and Messi, now get the definitive story of the third highest scoring active men's international."

‘Captain Fantastic’ is available on FIFA+ which is a content initiative by FIFA. Some of the scenes for 'Captain Fantastic' were filmed in Bangalore and Delhi.
