Kunal Nayyar's derogatory comment about Madhuri Dixit in the first episode of season 2 of The Big Bang Theory, which is currently streaming on Netflix, has caused a stir on social media. In the episode, Jim Parsons compares Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to Madhuri Dixit Nene and refers to Aishwarya as 'a poor man's Madhuri Dixit'. Kunal Nayyar responds by saying, "Aishwarya Rai is a goddess, while Madhuri Dixit is a leprous prostitute in comparison."

This statement has led to political analyst Mithun Vijay Kumar serving Netflix with a legal notice. Veteran actress Jaya Bachchan has also reacted to his remark. During an interview, Jaya Bachchan criticized Kunal Nayyar for his derogatory comment. She stated, "Is this man (Kunal Nayyar) out of his mind? He has a very dirty mouth. He should be sent to a psychiatric hospital. His family should be asked about his comment."

Jaya Bachchan, who had a glorious film career spanning 50 years, has tarnished her media reputation in recent decades by constantly making snide remarks towards the people.
