Manoj Bajpayee Opens Up About Sushant Singh Rajput's Last Conversation

Recently during a promotional event of Bhaiyaa Ji, its lead actor, Manoj Bajpayee could be seen recalling his late co-actor of the film Sonchiriya, Sushant Singh Rajput.

Actor Manoj Bajpayee is one of the most accomplished stars of the current film industry as his unconventional roles and characters are capable of leaving an impeccable mark on the viewers. The Family Man fame is currently basking high on his upcoming film Bhaiyaa Ji, making buzz around the entertainment realm while promoting the same. Meanwhile, Bhaiyaa Ji is now all set to release theatrically on 24th May 2024. Well, recently during a promotional event, the lead actor could be seen recalling his late co-actor of the film Sonchiriya, Sushant Singh Rajput. 


Manoj Bajpayee recalls Sushant Singh Rajput 

Both the actors, Manoj Bajpayee and Sushant Singh Rajput shared a very good bond throughout Sonchiriya's commencement. While recalling the late actor, he quipped on having an indulging into a conversation with Sushant just 10 days after the latter's saddening demise. While speaking about the same, Manoj reminisced on their beautiful days spent together on the sets and called him 'intelligent' and 'sensitive'. He said, "Main jo mutton bana ke khilata tha set pe, uska deewana tha. Basically, toh Bihari tha woh. Aur jo meat bhaat hum log khaate the, main banaata tha, kayi baar khaya usne."

Their Last Conversation

As per their last conversation, the actor recalled the instance when Sushant expressed his eagerness to have meat curry made by Manoj Bajpayee and insisted the Killer Soup actor call him at his place for the same. He later assured that he should invite him as soon he makes the curry at his home. However, after 10 days of the conversation, it was sadly the 'big breaking' of Sushant's death that took over the news headlines. 


SSR's death left Manoj Bajpayee shocked 

Later, Bajpayee spoke about the sadness his death brought him as he could never imagine losing a person like SSR. The incident left him shocked and shattered. "I was, like everyone, who were close to him, shocked and shattered, I was one of them. I just couldn't believe it," he added. Proceeding further he even included Irrfan's death along with Sushant as he said, "Abhi bhi. Main believe nahi kar paata hun, do logon ke mrityu ko lekar ke. Ek Sushant ke aur ek Irrfan ke. It was too early. It's difficult to come to terms with them going away."
