Salman Khan clears the air after his viral “alone and lonely” post sparked concern online, saying he is surrounded by family, friends, and fans, and simply wanted some personal time.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently found himself at the center of social media chatter after a cryptic post about being “alone and lonely” went viral. Fans quickly began speculating whether the actor was going through an emotional phase or hinting at something personal. But Salman has now cleared the air and in his usual style, he did it with humor and honesty.

It all started when Salman shared a shirtless picture of himself relaxing on a couch. Along with the photo, he wrote, “By I me myself, 2 ways to be by yourself, Alone and Lonely, Alone is by choice n lonely when nobody wants to be with u….. Ab iske aage you figure out what you need to do.”


The post instantly grabbed attention online. Many fans wondered if the actor was talking about his own life and feeling lonely. As discussions grew, Salman decided to step in and explain what he really meant.

Taking to X, the actor told everyone to calm down and stop overthinking. He clarified that the post was not about him personally. Salman wrote that he could never feel alone because he is surrounded by a loving family, close friends, and millions of fans who constantly shower him with love and prayers.

He shared, “How can I be alone when I have such a large amazing family and friends? And how can I be lonely when I have you guys, your wishes and duas?” He even joked that he would be “the biggest ungrateful person” if he ever complained about loneliness.

Salman also explained that sometimes he simply wants a little “me time.” According to him, being around people all the time can get tiring, and everyone deserves a peaceful break once in a while. In a funny twist, he revealed that the entire situation became such big news that even his mother, Salma Khan, got worried and asked him, “Kya hua beta?” (What happened, son?)


The actor’s clarification brought relief to fans, many of whom appreciated his candid and light-hearted response.

On the work front, Salman has a packed schedule ahead. He will next be seen in Maatrubhumi, directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film was earlier known as Battle of Galwan and is believed to be inspired by the Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese forces. Reports suggest the project has gone through major changes, including a new title and storyline.

Apart from that, Salman is also reportedly gearing up for another big release during Eid 2027. The film, tentatively titled SVC63, will feature actress Nayanthara and will be directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju. Shooting for the project has already started, making fans even more excited about what’s next for the superstar.
