Shilpa Shinde-Hina Khan fight: What's the feud between Hina Khan and Shilpa Shinde?

Television actor Shilpa Shinde recently found herself at the centre of a controversy after she admitted that she had filed a false sexual harassment case against the producers of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain. Her confession has not only sparked public debate but has also reignited her long-standing feud with fellow actor and former Bigg Boss 11 contestant Hina Khan. The controversy began after Shilpa revealed that she had filed a false sexual harassment complaint against Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! producer Sanjay R. Kohli in 2017 during a contractual dispute.

Hina Khan Takes a Sarcastic Dig

Reacting to Shilpa's confession, Hina Khan shared a strongly worded message on social media. Taking a sarcastic swipe at the situation, she appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the President of India, and the Law Minister to release all criminals who admit to their crimes.

Hina wrote: "Honourable Prime Minister of India, Honourable President of India, and the Law Minister of India, Kindly release all the criminals who have confessed to their crimes after committing them. Because they have courage. Because they are fighters. Because they stand by the truth. And also because nobody supported them when they committed the crime."

Through her remarks, Hina stressed that confessing to a crime does not automatically erase the offence or free a person from legal consequences.

Hina Speaks About the 'Real Victim'

In another post, Hina strongly criticised the misuse of serious allegations and expressed concern for the producer involved in the case.

She wrote: "Yes, using your Sex to malign someone's image in order to Win during a conflict is absolutely shameful. And everyone is Absolutely Right to Call it out and demand Justice. I am shocked beyond words."

She further added: "But I want to talk about the ‘Real Victim' here. A respected Man with a wife, a daughter and many other women in his family.. A real hardworking producer with many iconic shows. Who went through such an ordeal. As admitted by the Female Actor, her allegations were not just baseless they were used to gain advantage, to win, to score, to claim, to settle without the utilisation of Law. And even after that, the SAME producer gives the SAME show to the SAME person. Another LAUNCHPAD, another MOUTH PIECE, another RELEVANCE, another CHANCE to legitimise her Fake Claim of SEXUAL ASSAULT.."

Hina also questioned the producer's decision to work with the actor again despite the allegations. "What if the Actor repeats it? After all the actor has been given the same show by the one she FALSELY ACCUSED..* I AM APPALLED THE JOKE IS ON US."

Shilpa Shinde Hits Back at Hina Khan

Soon after Hina's comments went viral, Shilpa Shinde responded with a video on Thursday. She criticised Hina for speaking about the issue and accused her of seeking publicity.

Shilpa said: "I do not know when people will stop gaining publicity in my name. But do not climb onto a moving train, or you will get hurt, right? To gain publicity, you have your illnesses, you have the deaths in your family, so why do you need Shilpa Shinde, right? You are already widely published."

Her remarks quickly drew attention, especially because they referred to Hina's personal struggles, including her health battle.

Shilpa Defends Her Actions

During the same video, Shilpa defended her decision to file the false complaint at the time. She referred to ancient strategies often mentioned in Indian mythology.

She stated: "Read about saam (persuasion), daam (price), dand (punishment), bhed (division). If you have not read it, then watch Mahabharata."

Shilpa also maintained that she was simply speaking the truth now and had no fear of public criticism. According to her, she had fought her battles alone and was not concerned about what people were saying about her confession.

Rivalry That Began in Bigg Boss 11

The tension between Hina Khan and Shilpa Shinde is not new. Their rivalry dates back to their time on Bigg Boss 11, where they frequently clashed inside the house.

The two television stars were among the strongest contestants of the season and eventually reached the finale. Their disagreements and heated arguments became one of the major talking points of the show.
