Coronavirus Outbreak: Gippy Grewal Calls Off Shoot Of Upcoming Film ‘Maa’

Gippy Grewal was one of the first filmmakers to announce a hold on his production due to the novel Coronavirus. He shared a video on his Instagram story stating that the release of his production ‘Posti’ is being postponed until further notice.

Meanwhile, the shoot of his another Punjabi movie ‘Maa’ was still going on. However, now the same has been called off too.

Owing to Coronavirus pandemic, a hold has been put on the shooting of ‘Maa’. Starring Gippy Grewal, Babbal Rai, Aarushi Sharma, Divya Dutta, Rana Ranbir and more, the movie has been scheduled to be released on May 8, i.e. Mother’s Day

However, now the shooting has been called off, the makers may have to reschedule the release date of the film.

On the other hand, other movies like ‘Defaulter’ and ‘Main Viah Ni Karona Tere Naal’ are also affected due to coronavirus spread. We hope that the situation becomes under control soon.
