Deepika Padukone at FIFA World Cup 2022: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is said to create history as she will reportedly unveil the FIFA World Cup trophy ahead of the finals in Qatar.  Yes, Deepika Padukone is the first international actor to do so in FIFA's history. On December 18, the Lusail Iconic Stadium in Qatar will host the FIFA World Cup final, and Deepika Padukone is said to be part of the same.

Following making everyone proud by representing India as a jury at the Cannes 2022, Deepika Padukone is to add a feather to her cap with FIFA World Cup 2022. According to a source, Deepika will travel to Qatar to take part in the FIFA World Cup trophy unveiling ceremony at the stadium. For the unversed, the Lusail Iconic Stadium would host the FIFA World Cup championship game on December 18.

In the meanwhile, the FIFA World Cup 2022 Fan Festival in Doha featured a performance by actor and dancer Nora Fatehi last week. She sang "Light the Sky," the anthem for the FIFA World Cup. She also performed on her best songs, including "O Saki." Nora expressed her gratitude to her fans and provided a behind-the-scenes video of her fan fest performance as well.

On Deepika Padukone's work front, she will be seen in the upcoming movie "Pathaan," which features Shah Rukh Khan, and John Abraham and is set to release on January 25, 2023. The movie is being helmed by Siddharth Anand and is said to be filmed in eight different nations.
