The Sikh community never fails to make a mark with their good deeds. Now, Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) on July 14 started free ambulance services for COVID-19 patients on Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji's Prakash Purab. Reportedly, 12 ambulances will be stationed in various parts of the national capital.

“The 12 ambulances are well equipped with all the facilities and the people who need the facility can get in touch with the nearby Gurudwara,” President Manjinder Singh Sirsa informed the media.

Earlier in June, the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee had launched a ‘Langar on Wheels’ service. For this, 15 vans had been allocated.

Sikhs across the world too are trying to contribute in as many ways as they can. In June, the Sikh community in New York came forward to support people protesting against racism in light of the recent killing of George Floyd.

We hope and pray that this time passes soon and each one of you is safe and sound in their home.
