Dhoom franchise actor Uday Chopra is going through a rough phase in his life right now. He has been out of news and showbiz for a long time, however, he is back in news after he posted two mysterious tweets hinting on his depression and suicide.

On March 22, the actor confessed through a tweet that he is not okay. Followed by another tweet, which talked about his suicidal tendency. Uday compared deactivating his Twitter account to being close to death.

The tweets created a havoc on the internet, making people worried about him. A few of the fans retweeted him with 'Stay strong' message.

Hold on still @udaychopra . Depression does go away and then when you'll be healed, looking back things won't seem as bad as they look now. Stay. Just stay. Keep fighting no matter how many times you fall. Get up andfight again. Go see a therapist. Keep fighting. We all are here.

However, the actor soon dismissed the tweets next day, saying that it was just his dark humor that got misunderstood.

Seems like I tweeted something recently that got a few of you worried. I’m totally fine, its just my dark humour that sometimes gets misunderstood. Thanks for all your concern though.

Uday is probably battling with depression these days and it will be fine if he opens up and talks about it.
