Sooraj Barjatya's film has left an impeccable impression on movie buffs for years. The director is returning with his much-awaited film 'Uunchai' which features Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, and Anupam Kher in the leads. The story revolves around a special friendship and their commitment to going above and beyond to fulfill one another's desires.

The makers as well as the team of the movie 'Uunchai' are leaving no stone unturned to promote their film. In a special episode of the singing reality show 'Indian Idol', director Sooraj Barjatya revealed that the famous song 'Didi Tera Devar Deewana' was inspired by a Punjabi song.

Yes, you read that correctly. The song 'Didi Tera Devar Deewana' had a special scene in which Salman Khan hits Madhuri Dixit with a slingshot which director Sooraj Barjatya told was inspired by a Punjabi song he heard back then.

The iconic scene was appreciated and much loved by the fans.

Actor Anupam Kher also revealed that while shooting the 'Antakshari' sequence in the film 'Hum Aapke Hai Kaun'; he was facing facial paralysis. The actor was asked to take a rest for two months but instead of running from the troubles he faced the situation and shot the entire song.

Talking about the film ‘Uunchai’, is a tale of four friends who stick together through thick and thin. Danny’s character expressed his dream of climbing Mount Everest with Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, and Anupam Kher. However, after his demise, Anupam Kher, Amitabh Bachchan, and Boman Irani complete Danny’s desire.

The film 'Uunchai' will be released in theaters on November 11.
