Diljit Dosanjh is the heartthrob of Millions with his voice, acting and his decent and innocent heart. His debut song in Bollywood was "Ik Kudi" from the movie "Udta Punjab". Then, he also sang in "Phillauri" for "Naughty Billo" and "Dum Dum". Now, he is been in limelight for his upcoming Bollywood movie "Soorma". "Soorma" is based on a biopic of a hockey player Sandeep Singh which is scheduled to release in June 2018. This is his fourth Bollywood movie which has something more interesting than his previous movies.

This time he is singing a song for his movie "Soorma", which is a romantic song and what makes it more fabulous is that the lyrics of the song are penned by the legendary lyricist of B-Town, Gulzar Saab. Yes, the Super Singh will lend his voice to the lyrics done by Gulzaar. While interacting with media, Diljit mentioned, "Few people know that Sandeep Paaji is a romantic man which gave us some scope for music in a hockey-centric film. I've lent my voice to a romantic song written by Gulzar Saab which is an honor for me."

For "Soorma", Diljit Dosanjh has to work hard on his physique to fulfill the requirements for the character of the movie. He said, "The role was extremely draining with so much intense training. Physically, it was very tough. I had a lot of problems post shooting the film. When I was shooting, I had stopped consuming sugar, I used to eat salt very less. Because we wanted the physique of an athlete in a very short time, I pushed my body a lot to achieve that result. When the film got over and I started eating normally, I got swelling on my hands, face and all over the body. There was a reaction. When you reduce the intake of salt, the water in your body doesn't stay and you get cramps."  Diljit has really pushed him hard beyond the limits to play Sandeep Singh in "Soorma".

He is sharing screen space with Tapsee Pannu in the film. The movie is directed by Shaad Ali and is slated to release on 29 June 2018.
