Director Amberdeep Singh Gets Nostalgic As He Remembers His University Show

Popular Punjabi director Amberdeep Singh known for making films like ‘Lahoriye’ and ‘Laung Laachi’ is feeling nostalgic right now as he is not making films currently due to the ongoing pandemic.

Besides directing, he has worked as a screenwriter for films like ‘Daddy Cool Munde Fool’, ‘Goreyan Nu Dafa Karo’, ‘Angrej’, ‘Love Punjab’ among many others.

He is reminiscing his old days as he shared a picture on his social media handle, where he misses the time he used to direct plays for his University.

The show is titled as ‘Lohakut’ and Amberdeep captions the picture as: “Ik sohni yaad .. ess natak de show university karan ton baad abohar te ganganagar ch show karan te jo paisey mille san oh laike Mumbai geya si main .. ?????”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Amberdeep is waiting to release his next film ‘Jodi’. The film stars Diljit Dosanjh and Nimrat Khaira on the lead. ‘Jodi’ was slated to release in June this year, but it has been postponed due to the pandemic.
