Do You Think Punjabi Bhangra on 'Go Corona' Is A Reason To Curfew In Punjab?

Punjabis are known for their breathtaking style. They live life king size. Amidst the Janata Curfew, when everyone was told to show signs of gratitude at 5 pm for all the selfless workers who work for the public in the middle of danger, Punjabis as usual showed a different style of gratitude.

The jokes of Punjabis asking whether to clap or sing bolis and folk at 5 pm during Janta Curfew were proved right. But unfortunately, it was no fun or no entertainment. Ofcourse, the Punjabis who were a part of it might have enjoyed it but this was surely not the right time to cherish it. Watch the video below to know what actually they did. Look at their bhangra moves, their boli style 'Go Corona' song and their enthusiasm. But was it required?

This is how India ?? celebrated Victory over Corona ?. Seriously, how will we defeat this deadly diseases by celebrating in Groups and ignoring Social Distancing. We have to educate everyone around us why it's important to stay at home and not be around other people. These videos from today are disheartening and scary. . #coronavirus #jantacurfew #covid_19

It is crazy to know how discipline was shown one day, in fact for a few hours but then in the evening, what all could be seen was a lavish typical Punjabi style get together. People forgot the motive behind Janta Curfew and went too ahead in the sea of emotions. Social distancing was mocked at by them. This entire scenario might have forced our authorities to opt for curfew instead. Hence, no more lockdown. No more self imposed curfew. Now is the time for the Government imposed strict curfew.

Just a tip to all the bhangra and giddha lovers! You all have your own houses to continue with whatever you like. Dance at your homes, find creative ways of quarantine but do not step outside. It is for your safety, your well being. Yes, it is a universal fact that you can take out a Punjabi from the land of Punjab but you can not take bhangra out of a Punjabi. Agreeing to this, what best can be done is searching a way out to continue bhangra at homes, without infecting anyone else.
