First Female Sikh Journalist From Pakistan Gets Nominated For An Award By The Sikh Group In UK

A Sikh Pakistani journalist, Manmeet Kaur has been nominated for a prestigious award by the Sikh group in the United Kingdom. She said 100 people from around the world have been nominated in the first phase and some of them will be shortlisted for the award.

According to the reports, The Sikh Group is a global organisation which awards people from Sikh religion from different parts of the world who serve the people in different ways. Manmeet Kaur said she has worked for promotion of inter-faith harmony and rights of minorities in Pakistan to leading news daily.

Manmeet Kaur has promoted interfaith harmony and the rights of minorities in Pakistan for a very long time. This is why she now stands among Indian singers Ammy Virk, Gaurav Randhawa, and the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. All these renowned figures were also nominated for the award.

It is an achievement for the Sikh community around the world!
