International Turban Day, started in 2004 to make people aware of Sikh culture, is just 4 days away. Wearing turban is a mandatory part of Sikh religion. Sikhs worldwide organise various events to give information about the turban. To celebrate the International Turban Day, we are listing up few Bollywood stars who have donned the ‘Sikh’ look on screen with utmost perfection!

Sunny Deol

Bollywood's 'Sardar' characters have always been a hit and Sunny Deol has played it several times. He is undoubtedly Bollywood's favorite sardar when it comes to portraying a role of a Sikh on screen. Famous for his dialogue 'dhai kilo ka haath', Sunny always rocked the show whenever he donned the ‘Sikh’ look.

Gadar – Ek Prem Katha’, ‘Border’, ‘Singh Saab The Great’ and ‘Awara Pagal Deewana’ among others are few of his film that created ripples at the box-office.

Akshay Kumar

One of the fittest actors in Bollywood, Akshay Kumar has donned turban various times on silver screen. Recently, he is getting much praise for his ‘Sikh’ soldier look in ‘Kesari’. Based on the 1897 battle of Saragarhi, Akshay is seen sporting a heavy turban and long beard.
