Golden Globe Awards 2022: O Yeong Su, Squid Game fame creates history by being the first Korean actor to win Best Supporting Actor

The web series 'Squid Game' created a tremendous splash all around the world last year, in 2021. In just a few days after its release on Netflix, the online series became a worldwide sensation.

O Yeong Su, a South Korean actor, played an elderly player in this Survival Drama series, and the web series made him renowned all over the world. At the Golden Globes, he becomes the first Korean actor to win Best Supporting Actor in a Television Series, making history.

O Yeong Su portrayed an ordinary old man named Oh Il-Nam, also known as player 001, who desired to have some fun before his death in the series.

The actor O Yeong Su won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture in 2022, but he is not pleased with the honor. The performers are overjoyed at Yeung's success as a result of Squid Game. The actors are now very thrilled with their growing popularity as a result of this online series.
