Actress Monica Bedi is one of the most versatile artists of the Indian film industry, having worked in multi-linguistic films for Hindi, Telugu, Bengali, Nepali, Punjabi film industry. She stepped into the acting industry with a Telugu film in 1995 but soon made her debut in Bollywood the same year.

Monica has also sang chants ‘Ek Onkar’ for a spiritual music album. As the ‘Jodi No.1’ actress is celebrating her birthday today, on Janauary 18, we bring you her three best Punjabi films of all times to binge watch this weekend.

Sirphire

‘Sirphire’ is a 2012 Punjabi film directed by Harjit Ricky. The film starred Preet Harpal, Rosshan Prince, Karamjit Anmol, Monica Bedi, Gurleen Chopra in important roles.

Romeo Ranjha

Romeo Ranjha is a 2014 Punjabi language action comedy film starring Jazzy B and Garry Sandh. Helmed by ‘Singh Vs Kaur’ fame director Navaniat Singh, the film has Monica Bedi as DSP Reet Kaur.

Bandookan

Bandookan, the movie released in 2017 has Monica playing the role of Balwinder. Directed by Daljit Singh Baath was also famous for the title track 'Bandookan' sung by Karaj Randhawa.
