Vaisakhi is celebrated on April 13 around the world, as the formation of Khalsa Panth. The Khalsa panth was established in order to teach the followers that they shouldn’t be superstitious. The festival is also a spring harvest celebration for the Sikh community.

While the Sikhs honor the festival with folk dance, kirtan, celebration, and vaisakhi fair, the Vaisakhi festival Khalsa tradition started in 1699.
