Here's How Twinkle Khanna Reacted After Watching Akshay Kumar’s Kesari

Bollywood actress-author, Twinkle Khanna heaped praise on husband Akshay Kumar for his jaw-dropping action scenes in his recently released film Kesari. Directed by Anurag Singh, Kesari released across the nation on Holi, March 21.

Kesari is based on the battle of Saragarhi that took place in 1897 in which 21 Sikh soldiers, under the leadership of Havildar Ishar Singh, fought for several hours against 10,000 Afghan tribesmen.

Twinkle Khanna took to her official Twitter handle to praise Kesari and called it "a moving story of extraordinary courage with some kick-ass action".

In a tweet, she wrote, "I really really didn't want to but ended up crying at the end like everyone else watching."

Meanwhile, Akshay’s Kesari is receiving positive reviews from all quarters. Bollywood movie lovers have termed the film as the best war based film India has ever produced.

Besides Akshay, the film also features Parineeti Chopra in important role. Three well-known voices from Punjab, B Praak, Jazzy B and Jasbir Jassi, have given their vocals in the film.

While B Praak crooned Teri Mitti, Jazzy B sung Aaj Singh Garjega in the film. Jasbir Jassi has given his vocals for ‘Ek Onkar’ mantra in the film.
