Bollywood actor Boman Irani reveals that he has been getting ready for his role for Ranveer Singh starrer film ‘83’ for years now. While he might have spent most of his time inside the commentator’s box in the film, he was waiting for the film for so long.

“Kabir, Ranveer and the rest of the team have put their best foot forward to bring alive the 1983 cricket world cup on screen and shooting at the Lord’s cricket ground was really emotional,” says Boman to a leading news agency.

Meanwhile, the makers of ‘83’ have pushed forward the release date of the film and the trailer launch of the film due to the novel corona virus.

Besides Ranveer, Boman and Deepika Padukone, the film is also an important part for the Punjabi fraternity. Punjabi singers – actors Ammy Virk and Harrdy Sandhu are making their Bollywood debut with the film ‘83’.

The film was earlier slated to release on April 10, but so far there is no update of the new release date.
