India Lifts Ban On TikTok, Users Say ‘Time To Celebrate’. Right Move?

Popular video app TikTok is now again available to download in India after the Madras High Court has reversed its previous orders of banning the Chinese-owned video app over concerns over "pornographic" content.  The Madras High Court has lifted the ban on a condition that pornographic videos will not be uploaded on it.

In its order, Madras High Court stated that if anyone bypass its condition than the contempt of court proceedings would begin.

On April 3, the Madras High Court had directed the centre to ban the download of the TikTok app in India over concerns over "pornographic" content. Following the order, Google and Apple removed the app from its stores in India last week.

The video app claims to have more than 54 million active users in India. TikTok allows users to create and share short videos with special effects and is one of the world's most popular apps.

Not just youngsters, but few of our Punjabi stars are too having their accounts on TikTok. Here are some of the TikTok videos of Punjabi stars.
