Internet Explodes With Memes As PUBG Mobile Gets Banned In India

In a sheer suddenness, the Indian Government banned over a hundred Chinese apps, including Tencent Holdings Ltd.’s popular game PUBG Mobile and the youth has flooded the internet with memes.

While the decision came amid soaring tensions between India and China following their deadliest standoff in decades near a disputed border in the Ladakh region, the memes on the internet are surely going to make one relax and forget the tensions.

PUBG has around 33 million active users in India. The app was developed by a South Korean company, but the mobile version that has taken off around the world was developed by a Chinese company.
