The recent rape case with an eight year old girl in Pakistan has left the entire world in a state of shock. Zainab Ansari, an eight year old Pakistani girl who was on her way to Quran recital, was found raped and murdered in Kasur district of Pakistani Punjab. Taking inspiration from the heinous crime, star Punjabi rapper Bohemia has made incredible attempt to transpire the real image of the kind of world we all live in today through a song. ‘Gumrah’, the audio song which was released yesterday on Bohemia’s YouTube channel will compel you to introspect and question your values which define your overall existence.

Bohemia took to Facebook and posted a video to show his support for #JusticeforZainab initiative. The incident happened, when Zainab's parents had gone to Saudi Arabia for performing Umrah and Zainab was living with her uncle. On 4 January 2018, while going to a Quran tuition class which was very close to her house, she went missing. The autopsy suggested that she endured captivity and torture before her murder.

It takes sheer talent and courage to portray certain misdeeds of society in a song and Bohemia’s 'Gumrah' should inspire other artists to take cognizance of the misconducts of society and make songs that talk reality.
