Jasbir Jassi Lends His Voice For ‘Ek Onkar' In Akshay Kumar’s Kesari

Punjabi singer Jasbir Jassi, known for crooning songs like ‘Dil Le Gayee Kudi Gujarat Di’, ‘Kudi Kudi and ‘Akh Mastani' among others, has given his vocals for ‘Ek Onkar’ mantra in Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Kesari’.

The 49-year-old singer took to his official Twitter handle to share this information with his fans. He wrote: “Friends, what better could I ask for this year. Feel humbled to recite ‘EK ONKAR’ thank u @akshaykumar bhaji.”

Earlier, the makers of ‘Kesari’ released the trailer of the film on YouTube. The trailer’s duration is 3 minutes and 4 seconds, and it will keep you hooked till the last second. The trailer starts with a very strong dialogue by Akshay Kumar and then it’s followed by a very soothing ‘Ek Onkar’, sung by Jasbir Jassi.

‘Kesari’ is a war drama which is based on the epic Battle of Saragarhi fought in 1897. It tells the story of Havildar Ishar Singh, played by Akshay Kumar in the film.

Besides Akshay, the film also stars Parineeti Chopra in lead role. The film is releasing on March 21.
