Khalsa Aid Provides Emergency Relief Assistance To Victims Of Kolkata Disaster

Soon after the nation was shaken by the news of cyclone Amphan in Kolkata, the team of Sikh volunteers from Khalsa Aid took action and reached the affected region to help the people in need. Even though the nation is going through a pandemic, there is no way that the cyclone affected victims shouldn’t get any help.

The team of Khalsa Aid is providing emergency relief assistance like drinking water and hot cooked meals to the affected population.

Meanwhile, Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Ayushmann Khurrana among others have shared their deepest condolences to the victims of the cyclone.

More than 5 lakh people have been evacuated in West Bengal and 1,58,640 people in Odisha in view of Amphan, said SN Pradhan, chief of National Disaster Response Force.
