Lata Mangeshkar’s ‘Lag Jaa Gale’ Gets Recreated By Jasleen Royal And Radhika Madan

Upcoming young talent Radhika Madan has picked up a new hobby during the lockdown. The ‘Angrezi Medium’ actress has resorted to learning the piano while the country went into lockdown post the coronavirus pandemic.

Now actress Radhika Madan and singer Jasleen Royal have collaborated to recreate the Lata Mangeshkar’s classic song ‘Lag Jaa Gale’.

While Jasleen has lent her voice to the new version, Radhika has tried her hands on the keyboard.

Sharing how the track was made during the coronavirus lockdown, Jasleen explained to a leading news agency: “We picked ‘Lag jaa gale’ specifically since it is a deep-dyed classic that is a favourite of millions and continues to delight listeners of all ages.”

Learning a musical instrument has always been on Radhika’s bucket list, and she feels extremely happy to be a part of the rendition of ‘Lag Jaa Gale’.

The original song sung by Mangeshkar featured in the 1964 film ‘Woh Kaun Thi’. It was composed by Madan Mohan on lyrics by Raja Mehdi Ali Khan. The song is filmed on Sadhana in the film.
