The bubbly actress of Pollywood Industry Simi Chahal will be back on Silver Screen in coming month with her movie "Daana Paani". The movie has made people excited for it since the time it has been announced. "Daana Paani" is bringing the Chocolatey hero of the Industry back as an army officer. Yes, you have guessed that right. We are talking about Jimmy Shergill. Simi Chahal is the popular heroine of Pollywood for doing more period films. Her earlier releases that were period films are "Bambukat" and "Rabb Da Radio"

Daani Paani is being directed by ‘Rabb Da Radio’ famed Tarnvir Singh Jagpal. Nirmal Rishi will also be seen in the movie in pivotal roles.
The trailer for the film has been released a few days ago and it has got positive reviews from the public. It has been viewed more than 2 and half millions times on Youtube. The trailer clearly shows that it is a period drama set-up in 60’s Punjab. It is expected to be a love story between a village girl, played by Simi, and Jimmy, who will be seen essaying the role of an army Subedar.

Jass Grewal, known as the ‘Hit Machine’ of Punjabi Film Industry has penned down film’s story. Jass Grewal is credited for writing stories that are drawn to the ancient Punjab that showcase typical Punjabi culture. The movie is scheduled to release on 4 May, that is the coming Friday.
Simi Chahal last released movie was "Golak Bugni Bank Te Batua". She shared the screen space with Harish Sharma.
