Rajinikanth issues public notice over copyright infringement

Rajinikanth, a South Indian superstar, advised the general public about copyright infringement and threatened legal action against anyone using his name, picture, or voice for commercial gain without his permission.

According to the two-page notice, Shivaji Rao Gaekwad, or Rajinikanth, was one of the most renowned, celebrated, and financially successful actors in Indian cinema, particularly south Indian cinema. Having appeared in several films over the course of several decades in a variety of languages, he had a huge reputation.

He is referred to as a "Superstar" by millions of his followers throughout the world due to his charm and nature as an actor and a person. The size of his following base and his standing in the film industry were unrivalled and undeniable, the note stated.

The notification finished by noting that Rajinikanth would pursue legal actions, including civil and criminal ones, against anyone who violated his reputation or persona. This would cause Rajinikanth considerable loss and have an impact on many different areas.

The high-profile film "Jailor," in which Mohanlal, a star of the Malayalam language, has a cameo appearance, is currently in production with Rajinikanth.
