Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt face uproar at Ujjain's Mahakaleshwar Temple; here's why
Ahead of the release of India's biggest VFX film 'Brahmastra', Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, along with director Ayan Mukerji, visited famous Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain. However, they faced massive protests.
The protest was done over Ranbir Kapoor's 2011 comment that he likes beef. Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and director Ayan Mukerji recently visited Ujjain to take the blessings of Lord Shiva for their upcoming film 'Brahmastra Part-1: Shiva'.

This is one of the reasons that Ranbir Kapoor is facing a lot of backlash on social media and trollers are even pushing #BoycottBrahmastra on Twitter.
After Ranbir, Alia and Ayan visited Ujjain, the Bajrang Dal members held black flags and placards at the Mahakaleshwar Temple to protest against the film.

Likewise, Ranbir and Alia were not allowed to enter the Temple premises while only Ayan got permission to take the blessing.
On the other hand, Congress leader Priyanka Chaturvedi shared a post in which several Bollywood celebs can be seen posing with PM Narendra Modi. She wrote, "None of this photo op will help if you'll continue to be mute spectators to hate and believe it's not your business to talk politics."
